– Basmati Rice – Vermicelli Noodles – Vegan Butter  – Salt – Vegetable Broth

 In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add vermicelli noodles and sauté, stirring frequently, until golden brown. Be cautious not to burn them.

Add the rinsed rice to the saucepan with the vermicelli. Stir it around to coat the rice grains with the butter.

Pour in the water or vegetable broth. Add the salt and optional cinnamon or allspice. Stir and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and simmer.
