Description

Roasted chickpea croutons are an incredibly flavorful and nutritious snack that can be whipped up quickly! Perfect for eating on the go or adding a crunchy twist to your salads.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • any other seasonings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat your oven or air-fryer to 400°F.
  2. Prepare: Drain and rinse a can of chickpeas and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Combine: Toss the chickpeas with a tablespoon of olive oil and your desired seasoning (see flavor variations in the post).
  4. Bake: Spread the chickpeas out on a baking sheet or air-fryer. Bake for 6 - 10 minutes in the air fryer or 16-20 minutes in the oven until they are crispy and golden brown.
  5. Serve: Let the chickpeas cool for a few minutes before serving.
