Scale
- 1 lb potatoes (red, Yukon, or russet; 1 lb is about 4-5 Yukon gold potatoes)
- oil spray (you can skip the oil altogether or use 1 tbs of oil of your choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (to taste)
- 1/2-1 tablespoon dried parsley (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- Slice potatoes into 1/4-inch sticks or use a mandoline for even slicing.
- Rinse the sliced potatoes a few times until the water is clear.
- In a large bowl, spray the potatoes with oil spray (is using). Mix together the potatoes with salt, pepper, and dried parsley until the potatoes are evenly coated.
- Add the fries to the basket of your air fryer. Cook for 10-15 minutes, tossing the basket several times throughout.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as a side dish to your favorite meal. See the post for suggestions.
Notes
You can leave out the oil if you are oil-free. Watch the fries closely because they can burn quickly.
Serve them immediately for the best taste.
These fries reheat well in the air fryer.
